The Treaty and Aboriginal Land Stewards Association of Alberta, in partnership with the National Aboriginal Lands Managers Association, is pleased to announce the Introductory Guide to Land Management training taking place on October 24 and 25, 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn – West Edmonton in Edmonton, Alberta.   

Training: Introductory Guide to Land Management training
Dates: October 24 and 25, 2023
Times: 9 am to 4 pm (both days)
Location: Hilton Garden Inn - West Edmonton, 17610 Stony Plain Rd, Edmonton, AB  

This two-day training workshop will provide participants with a basic understanding of managing First Nation reserve lands including legal obligations, division of authorities, administrative structure, and regulatory regimes. The course instructor is Debra Campbell, NALMA instructor - a member of Musqueam Indian Band and an experienced professional in First Nation land management and economic development.
